Front End Developer (Magento)

Session are looking for two rare individuals who are capable of taking design concepts and translating them into standards-friendly code for Magento employing current web technologies (including HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery).

Working in conjunction with the creative and back-end teams, the selected candidates will be responsible for creating cross-browser solutions that separate structure, presentation and behaviour using semantic mark-up, CSS and unobtrusive JavaScript. Additionally, they willl be well-versed in techniques for building to accessibility standards and totally dedicated to producing top-end solutions that meet or exceed our clients’ high expectations.

This is you…

  • At least 4 years agency experience in web development
  • Produce clean, error-free, well-documented, and standards-compliant front-end solutions
  • You love CSS, in fact you’re so in love with slicing and dicing we ought to alert the police.
  • Although you see life in you understand – and can display – very sharp design skills.
  • You possess un-erring determination, a superb team-ethic – and the irrepressible energy of a 7-yr-old!
  • You have an eye for detail and alignment as well as a solid understanding of usability standards.

Account Manager

Session Digital is looking for an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join a busy, growing Agency to manage a range of existing high-profile clients. The position will suit an enthusiastic team player able to set a high standard of professionalism and effectively engage with customers to deliver a first-class client service.

Located in Central London, Session Digital deliver sophisticated, tailored Magento Ecommerce solutions to blue chip organisations that look great and work brilliantly.

The ideal candidate must have experience with, or a strong appreciation of, some or all of: e-commerce; mobile; site optimisation; on-line marketing and; social media. Supported by a passionate team of experienced project managers, business analysts, technical team leaders and creative experts, this individual will be the main point of contact for clients and be expected to build strong relationships based on trust and excellent client servicing.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver a exceptional customer experience across all the activity we engage in
  • Build long-lasting and valuable accounts
  • Help identify and open up revenue opportunities
  • Add value to client relationships through expertise and an ability to ‘get things done’
  • Work with internal teams to support project delivery acting as the client representative in the Agency
  • Understand a client’s business drivers, culture and processes to ensure a smooth working relationship across all teams
  • Pro-actively liaise with clients, providing accurate and timing reporting of statuses as well as identifying potential issues early
  • Liaise with third party suppliers and partners and manage communication across all internal and external teams
  • Support the Agency marketing and sales teams through writing case studies for completed work
  • On occasions, support new business teams with pitches

You will have..

The ideal candidate will have a Digital Agency or Integrated Agency background, have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships and exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills. With a hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example, you will be able to influence clients and delivery teams and push for the highest of standards at all times. You will display a commercial awareness and be able to assist with the management of budgets, protect profitability and seek out new opportunities to grow client accounts. Specifically, the key skills and experience required will be:

  • An agency background working with high-profile clients
  • Direct experience managing digital accounts
  • Knowledge of, or good understanding of: e-commerce; mobile applications; digital marketing; SEO; social media
  • Experience with budget planning and reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to influence others and drive standards
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude that fosters clients’ confidence
  • Computer literate with good skills across a range of standard software packages
